ForAn is building a network of research-based German practitioners from the areas of police emergency response, non-police emergency response and KRITIS operators. In this context, civil security research is strengthened as a strategic instrument for practitioners in order to be better prepared for future challenges. ForAn supports its members in obtaining European funding from the research and innovation framework program Horizon Europe. Applied civil security research only works in a three-way partnership between practitioners, research institutes and industry.
