About us
With its voluntary basis of about 80,000 voluntary experts THW as an authority in the department of the Federal Ministry of the Interior, is possibly “unique”.
In the research unit around 20 employees with a divers academic background and national and international experience. In the round about 20 research projects the THW participates at, are over 200 partner organisations from around 30 countries involved. Most of them are either Germany or Europe based.
