From 11 – 13 November, part of the ForAn network met for a proposal boot camp in Frankfurt. Shortly before the EU research proposals are submitted, the consortia finalise the details of their proposals. ForAn supports this with logistics and technical expertise. The boot camp is part of ForAn's three-stage workshop concept, in which knowledge is imparted in a structured way in order to develop successful EU research proposals within the consortium.

The three research consortia that travelled to the event were welcomed by ForAn project coordinator Alexander Rösner and informed about ForAn's activities. The teams then worked independently on their proposals in their own conference rooms. On 12 November, Ms Georg-Schaffner from EM Strasbourg Business School shared her personal experiences as a long-time Horizon reviewer. The talk was highly appreciated by the participants and was requested to be repeated next year. The 3-day event ended with an open feedback round. ForAn is looking forward to incorporating the participants' feedback into the boot camp 2024 next year.

We hope that all consortia, especially those we have supported with ForAn, will be successful in their project proposals and receive a funding commitment from the EU.
