On May 22 and 23, 2023, the SMI2G Brokerage Event took place at the Cyber Campus in Paris. The event primarily focuses on presenting one's own organization and its research interests in the form of project pitches. The goal is to find potential consortium partners with whom ideas can be further developed.

The project management team of ForAn was on-site, acting as intermediaries for the ForAn network. During the pitch sessions, they presented the various interests of ForAn members and placed project ideas from the network. The subsequent breaks provided opportunities for follow-up questions, during which numerous contact details were exchanged. Many organizations and institutions from the European security research landscape were excited about the opportunity to reach and get to know German users through ForAn.
In addition to the pitches, there were also exciting panel discussions and keynotes on topics such as artificial intelligence and public participation in security research. As exciting as these inputs were, the core of the event remained the pitches and the subsequent personal exchanges between participants.
